SATURDAY 9 MAY 2026. 1:00PM – 4:00PM

A chance to celebrate all that is good about our community and to meet up to have fun and enjoy meeting each other.

Northampton Transport Heritage will be bringing along two double decker buses and providing bus rides around our community. The route will take in all of our venues so feel free to hop on and off.

The Abington Community Library will be open for the usual library services. But will also host displays by several Community organisations, including Eastfield Residents’ Association, a local wellbeing group as well as providing arts and crafts for kids. The library site will also be the terminus for the free bus service linking all the Festival venues. So visitors can climb on board at least one of the classic buses operated by our friends at Northampton  Transport Heritage, meet the crews, learn about these iconic vehicles and enjoy a unique photo opportunity. Then come inside the library for refreshments being served throughout the Festival.

Join us on May 9th at the Eastfield Residents Association stall, located at Abington Library on Lindsay Avenue. Bring your family along for a day of community engagement and connection! Our dedicated committee members and other community leaders will be there to discuss important topics about your neighbourhood, answer questions, and share insights.
Don’t miss the chance to browse through a fantastic selection of quality children’s clothing available for purchase. It’s a perfect opportunity to support your community while finding great deals for your little ones. We look forward to seeing you there and building a stronger, more vibrant community together!

Did you know there is an allotment field in the middle of this area? Come and explore this amazing community resource. This is an opportunity for you to have a walk round the field with plot holders for you to talk to and a treasure hunt for all the family.

We cannot wait to be participating in the Eastfield and Community festival for another year! Come along for some family fun and enjoy a variety of inflatables for all ages, table tennis, a cafe with lots of treats and some lovely stalls run by our awesome community groups to get involved with. We cannot wait to welcome you here to Broadmead Community Church.

We will be holding a Community Dog Walk at 11:30am led by Nathan Watson (Dog Behaviourist and Trainer). There will also be a display about the work of the Friends of Eastfield Park in St Albans Church, Broadmead Avenue.

Calling all families and sports enthusiasts! On Saturday, May 9th, head over to Eastfield Park (what3words ///month.pipe.vines) near the MUGA for an exciting afternoon of free sporting activities, brought to you by the Eastfield Residents’ Association and Northamptonshire Sport. From 1PM to 4PM, your children can enjoy a variety of sports and activities, designed to entertain and engage.

While the kids are busy having fun, treat yourself to delicious snacks and drinks available for purchase. Don’t miss out on our tabletop sale, offering quality clothing for the whole family at unbelievable prices! It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, meet fellow residents, and support our community.
