SAFEGUARDING AND OTHER POLICIES

Broadmead Community Church strongly opposes any kind of abuse. We are committed to the safety, protection and wellbeing of all children, young people and adults with care and support needs from all forms of abuse and neglect, and actively seek to prevent its occurrence. We provide an enjoyable, safe environment for fun and learning, and we prioritise support for all children, young people and adults with care and support needs.

We have a comprehensive safeguarding policy in place which encompasses best practice, training and education of all our leaders and helpers in dealing with all forms of abuse, and risk management strategies to prevent abuse from occurring within the ministries of the Church.

Our Policy is in line with Baptist Union guidance and we operate a safer recruitment policy which includes references and a completed DBS check.

Our safeguarding policy can be found here.
