Our vision is to provide a welcoming community that is accepting and loving to all young people; enabling them to grow in relationship with each other and with Christ.

It is really important to us that our youth feel a part of the wider church family. Therefore youth are always encouraged to get involved and serve in other areas of ministry throughout the church.

We run youth sessions every Sunday for 11-18 year olds in our 11.15am and 4pm gatherings. These sessions are about fun, faith and family. We spend time playing games, studying the bible, having group discussions and praying and worshipping together. We study relevant and current issues facing our young people aiming to equip them week by week as they go into their communities, schools and colleges.

Every other Friday evening we open up a family home from 7-9pm. This fortnightly group gives the young people a chance to chill together, play games, eat food, catch up and build on their relationships with each other. The Friday night socials are welcome to all youth in years 7-10 and is a great evening to invite friends to.

XLR8 runs fortnightly on Sunday evenings, 7-9pm. It is open to all young people in years 10-13. Here we love to relax at the end of our week, catching up, playing games and eating food. We often have games nights or baking competitions, dependent on what the youth have requested at the time. When the weather is good, we sometimes go to the local park to buy ice cream and play games together.

At Broadmead we are passionate about investing in to the lives of young people – so whether you join us on a Sunday, or whether you are looking for groups that run mid-week, we have something for you. We want all young people to find their own faith, and to empower them on their own journey of adventure with Jesus. If you have any questions, or if you’d like to join the team in serving and leading our young people, please do get in touch.
