Jesus called us all to make disciples as well as be disciples. We want this to be at the heart of our lives together as a church. We want as a church to live by these values.
Life and faith is an adventure that Jesus invites us all into – whether we aren’t yet a Christian, a new Christian, or have been following Jesus for some years. Learning and growing is an important part of our adventure. Paul spoke of it to the Ephesians.
So, Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Eph 4:11-16
We are all to be growing in the knowledge of Christ and in our faith, which is outworked in our lives – disciples are learners.
Our Growth Track is a series of five courses, so wherever you are in your journey of discovery and discipleship, you can access a course which will give you the opportunity to ask questions, gain new insights, find greater freedom, and be challenged and encouraged to use your passions and God-given gifts.
The Growth Track is designed with a natural pathway for people to follow, but we would like you to think of the courses as important pieces of a jigsaw puzzle which together will give you the whole picture.
