Children's AM Groups

An opportunity is open for you to join our Children's AM team as a group helper. We currently have an  opening available for one leader in Ichthus (Yr3-Yr6). In this role you will assist the group leaders in guiding and encouraging our children in their journey towards their own faith in God. Our Children's group leaders are very experienced, having over thirty years of experience in leading Children's groups among them. So as a group helper you are in very safe hands.

Our Promiseland children are in their first three years of primary school, an exciting time for them as they make new friends and learn new skills like reading and writing. Imagine helping them read God's word. Imagine helping them to write for the first time, "God loves me"! Our Ichthus children are established and confident, and benefit from nurture and assurance that they are safe in God's hands, and that it is ok to question everything!

These are special years in the lives of our children, when they learn so much about the fantastic world around them. Imagine seeing them understand, perhaps for the first time, they are special to God, created and loved by Him.
Join our team today by helping us show these young lives God's love and His plan to build His kingdom.

Youth Team

Can you imagine anything better than seeing the look on someone's face when they realise they are made with a purpose, created in the image of God and unconditionally loved?

We as a youth team get the amazing privilege to be able to support and encourage the young people on that adventure with their heavenly Father. In this generation young people have so much going on around them which is constantly changing and challenging them, emotionally, physically and spiritually. We're fortunate enough to be able to provide a safe, loving and nurturing place where youth can come and be exactly who they need to be and to discover who God wants them to be. We're passionate about recognising that young people are not tomorrows generation but that they are the now generation.

We have a few exciting opportunities in our youth team where you can join in on this adventure... don't miss out! If you'd like to be a part of this learning, growing, encouraging and fun loving community then please speak to Jodie Prescott about how you can get involved.

Refreshments Team

When someone walks in to your home, what’s the first thing you do? Offer them a drink? Every Sunday we have hundreds of people coming in to our home (church!), some of which have never been before, and may even be their first time to a church. Our refreshment team is part of the front line of making sure that everyone who steps in to our family has a great experience. It’s far more than coffee and biscuits, it’s shaping people’s experience of what church is all about. We would love you to join our team, and be part of making church an environment that people love to be in.

For more information about how you can get involved, please chat to Katherine Kerlogue.

Welcome Team

If you enjoy meeting new people, and have a friendly face, then you may consider joining the Welcome Team at the AM or PM Gathering.

It involves being part of a rota with other like minded people, and approximately once a month maximum serving God by greeting people as they arrive at church and making newcomers feel as welcome as possible. We are currently looking for volunteers for both AM and PM Gatherings although we need volunteers especially at the PM Gathering as this team are low in numbers.  For more information please speak to Jonathan Moore.

Creative Communications

Are you creative? Do you have a passion for media and technology? At Broadmead we believe in creativity - and we want to utilise creativity to create receptivity in people to all that God wants to do in and through them. So whether you have a passion for graphic design, photography, videography, social media, websites, projection, audio or anything else, we would love you to join our team and be part of making the message of the gospel as well as the communication across church life engaging and fresh.

There are multiple opportunities for how you can get involved across the communications team, so for more information please chat to Paul Stirling or Susan Boyd.

Worship Community

The Worship Community is a space to learn, grow and be encouraged to grow in both musicianship and in our identity as worshippers. We meet weekly and have times of worship, practical learning, prayer and socials. The Worship Community is open to all - it’s not a commitment to be on the worship rota - it’s simply a space to grow in your worship expression - which may lead on to you joining the team, but isn’t expected. For more information please speak to Claire Edington or Loreto Soto Ponce.

Sunday Facilites Team - Carparking, Setting Up and Venue Co-ordinating

We have a lovely team of people who come early, stay late, come back again and stay even later to make church happen.  This covers a number of teams here but our facilities teams are a big part of that.  Would you love to serve God by setting up His house each week?  This is the team for you.

Our Sunday Facilities Team are lead by Jim Winning.  Please speak to Jim if you would like to know more.
